God is with me wherever I go,
Yes He loves me, I know this so.
He knit me together in my mother’s womb;
He knows exactly who I am,
And exactly what I should do.
I don’t need to worry,
I don’t need to fear;
God sent His son, so I could come near.
And now I know which path to take, but I must keep my mind focused to run this race.
He calms me with His presence,
And He restores my soul.
Yes, my Lord loves me,
I know this so.

If you’re lost and confused, not sure what to do,
Come to me and you’ll find peace;
I’ll put your heart at ease, and set your spirit free.
I know it’s hard here in this life, but if you’ll take the time and get to know me,
Suddenly you’ll see that it’s not so bad, that all you’ve ever needed is exactly what you have.

The Earth is yours,
And you hold all things,
And when the oceans roar,
I can still have peace.
Because you hold my heart,
And your love is strong,
And you promised to never let the righteous fall.
So I cling to you,
Knowing you are real.
I’ll live by your word and not how I feel.
For my thoughts are fleeting,
So empty and vain,
But you rescue me,
Setting my mind on higher things.
And it’s there that I find you,
It’s there I can see,
That when my heart is troubled,
Your love carries me.
